A Decade of Artifax Expertise at
New Plymouth District Council 

Their story

On New Zealand’s North Island, New Plymouth District Council (NPDC) covers an area of spectacular natural beauty, from Taranaki Maunga to the moana, and is home to some excellent recreational and cultural facilities (which is where Artifax comes in!).  

Since their site’s installation in 2016, a broad range of facilities have come to be managed by NPDC’s Artifax system, including halls, clubrooms, labs, lawns, gardens, and their TSB Showplace performing arts venue, plus gallery, museum, and library spaces. 

Exciting renovation work is currently underway at TSB Showplace, including  improvements to the foyer, bar, and ticket booth and will coincide with seismic strengthening of the building. The grand reopening is scheduled for June 2026. Check out their What’s On page for more info about all they’ve got going on across their events venues. 

With Artifax managing so many different spaces, NPDC’s venue management teams rely on the quick access to key information and a single source of truth about all their events.
